group makan - preview
finally, after 1 month of planning, we actually manage to have this ‘group makan’.
it is the time when all the groupmates –>
comes together and cook a dish and eat together. the last time we ever had a group dinner was new year, exactly 1 year ago. i must admit, i wasnt expecting a fun time because everyone has their own agenda but it really surprised me this year that we manage to sit down, eat peacefully and had great talks….ok…maybe not great but it was really fun. i really enjoyed it, very very much. most of the time, i wish we could do it more often…despite the fact that we see each other everyday….but it is different when you can come together, sit down and eat together.
this year has been great….new relationships forming - healthy ones…aha…i mean friendships!
ok, back to the ‘preview’ - i made mix vege - it was really fun because i had one thing in mind but ended up making another..it was impromtu. i believe that when you cook from your heart, it is nice.
here are other dishes - there was roasted chicken which tasted like duck, ayam masak merah, home-made taufu, mix vege, fruit salad, sambal egg, fried chicken, fried gizzard, sweet and sour fish, fried mee, konyaku jelly and lou han gou drinks. i hope i didnt forget any!
happenings
it’s 1am…feeling a bit hyper now! haha….meaning, i’m in a good mood…i wasnt earlier but God really reminded me…that nothing is bigger than Him!
anyway, i jsut came back from my lil’ sis page, LingDi and Xuan and Ning Jie’s blog- in which i found out they had a blogger gathering with Adverlet in Halo Cafe!!!! I cant believe I missed that! ouch!!
seriously i cannot believe that i missed this event!! at least they won some $$. not bad, u blog and u get money! haha….doing something you like and you get paid for..isnt that great?
i miss home….another 183 more days before i can step foot in Miri. cant wait for the day to come! i miss home!! i miss the handsome scooby and smart hei gou!
it’s officially 1 week break from today. Supposingly we are to have class tmr (sun)…yes, you heard me right, to replace monday as a holiday. we manage to negogiate with the teacher so that we can miss tmr’s class and combine it on next next tuesday.
why 1 week break? apparently, this has been going on since 2004. before that, there wasnt such a thing here. it’s 7 days public holidays from jan 1-7th. cool eh. if only msia has such a long public holiday!
currently watching - Light of Christmas! pls, take some time to watch this, you wont regret it! ok…i shall sign off here…wanna continue to watch!

coming to an end
everything has a beginning and has an end. am i talking about this year coming to an end? well, maybe so.
everyone is in a hyper mood because it’s NEW YEAR! for me? there are more to do than just celebrate new year. loads of responsibilities, piles of work to finish, tonnes of exams questions to study and of course…life to live!
I have suffered much;

i asked myself - what have i accomplised this year? well, there are a lot to begin with. i look at my goals for this year and i notice, i manage to do 2/3. not bad, eh? i stil have another 3 more days. it was only a few months ago when i found this piece of crumbled paper with my goals for this 2007 written on it. it made me realise that life is suppose to be lived with a purpose. we shouldnt forget that…..despite the busy schedule each on of us are facing, we shouldnt forget our sole purpose that we are here - to live a life that gives glory to God!
the whole last week has been the ‘worst’ week that i ever had. not only that i found out i had failed my exam last week, i have another one to sit today. then there was this very heavy cycle that i am having with a very active teacher…but u know what….God is able to deliver me…in His timing, He made everything perfect!
when you’re finding things are just too burdening for you, too much for you to handle, well, just bring it all to Him.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 (New International Version).
God will not fail you if you put your trust in Him! no problem is too big for Him to handle!
secret recipe - egg tarts
want to share with u all - ways to make egg tarts! it’s easy, cheap and fast!
all you need - eggs, castor sugar, boiled water and vanilla essence
beat 3 eggs. then mix with 200ml of water, 150g of castor sugar and one teaspoon of vanilla essence.
pour into the ‘tart’ - you can buy ready make ones if available or make your own. pour it in..and preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
put in the egg tarts to bake for 15-20 minutes
and you have your own egg tarts ready! you can make a few for breakfast,
or make lots for your friends for a party.
