dreaming big
Today is a beautiful day. The weather is sunny and it wasn’t as cold as it should be. It feels like spring has already come. Honestly to say, we got to be worried about global warming!! When I was in 1st or 2nd year, the winter is long and cold. But now, it seems to be too short….i didn’t manage to make snowman or make an angel. Well, hopefully the coming winter at the end of the year will be better!!
Well, remember I once told you all that we have a fashion blog? Well, it’s called wgtgfashionblog.blogspot.com. The idea is not to show off or anything. One of the main reason is that we are close cousins and we grow up sharing the things…be it what we wear to cds and even textbooks. Now, most of us are across the globe or at the ends of the earth(
If we are thinking to step into business, we certainly need to begin with scratch. None of us are studying business, well, maybe accounting can be included but it’s not business management or administration. So, I’ve think it through. If we are all serious about it, we must look into the shopping cart software. This is the most important step. In order to start online business we cannot forget about the backbone of the business which includes proper software that can help buyers and even those that are selling, to get their products to the customers.
If this sounds too complicated, we can begin with good e-commerce software that can organize and sort out the items that are intended for market. It must be reliable, up-to-date security and not to mention, easy to use. Not everyone is a computer genius, you see. It is when all these are setup, only then we can get the dice rolling.
having dogs
just read this post from Ning. She mentioned that there are dogs coming to stay in her house…and she wanted to put up the mesh wire to prevent them from coming in….but, Ning Jie…wait……
You know, dogs are really cool. They will not go to a house that are hostile. where the people in the house are evil and bad. Dogs got senses. They know that when a house is warm and welcoming. So now that they’ve come to your house…means that your house is good, warm, safe. And when you have dogs in your house, you have extra security!!!
remember, my house used to have lots of guest dogs…firstly Gou Gou, our neigbour dog. Then Hei Bai. And then Hei Gou which now is already a PR. And now, Xiao Gou!

the stone henge
remember i promised to post something about my vacation, well, i’m going to start now. first stop : Stone Henge. a place i wanted to visit since i was a kid….since i was 13 series that has something to do with the stones…so, it got me interested in it…looking back, i never ever thought i would come and see it for myself. that is the greatest part - to actually see it with my own eyes…how real and beautiful…
praise God also for a great weather!

the bus we take to the site - Stone Henge. With Nic and Ben. Double decker bus…clean, spacious….what can i say? it’s a great journey. from the train station to the site…it takes about 15 minutes. and the sceneries…it’s spectacular!

i’m devastated! I saw this blouse that I wanted…since last september….it was 1024 roubles….so, i cannot afford that. It’s the price of my one month internet. About that…..
then, before i went on vacation, there was a new year sale, and it was 648 roubles….but still too much for me. And honestly, I stil cant get it out of my mind, I would go to the shop, look at it and put it back.
Last night, I went over again because I had extra time before cell leader’s meeting. The sale was coming to an end. LIke always, i would go and check out that particular blouse…and it was 326 only! It has been reduced nearly half..and more than 70% the original price! Amazing…but not. Coz I didnt have money with me. So, I decided, I’ll go over first thing the next morning after class.
I rushed back to the room, leave my stuff and took a bus over to the shop….so excited, I am getting the blouse, finally after more than 6 months!
Guess what!!!!

It’s Spring
beautiful weather these few days…
All the snow and ice are melthing, it’s getting warmer, today it’s 3 degrees. Perfect for a good walk except that it’s wet because of the melting snow and ice. Plus, I always get my jeans wet at the bottom….horrible…but once all the water is gone, it’ll be beautiful! I can start wearing skits! Cant wait!
As the weather is getting warmer, proves that spring is just around the corner…i wonder how about other places in the northen hemisphere….are all places starting spring or stil in winter?
Lately hasnt been really updating about myself eh?
Currently watching - Jamie Oliver’s cook shows. Praise God….I never really asked God for it, and He knows because we are His children! I dont even need to say much and He’s already provided me with all the things I want to watch! God is ao amazing!!!!

Like the verse above, how do you delight in the Lord? Just walk in obedience. Walk in the life that God wants you…do what God has put in your heart, step out in faith and you’ll see that He blesses you so much that you can never imagine or ever dream of!
Many poeple think that following God, committing yourself to God, serving in God in church or ministry is taking away things from you..and most people think that you got to give up all the fun in the world to serve God…but let me tell you something. it’s not that at all! Because when you begin to serve God in ministry, in church or just to commit more time in reading the world, you are not giving up your life because God is going to add more into your life and making it more fun than you can ever imagine. You are actually getting more than you give to Him. So, to me, it’s privilage to be able to love God, and be in ministry….
I look back, just a small portion of my obedience…and I’ve seen so great difference. For the past year or semesters, I’ve seen God adding more to my life than I’ve taken away. I’ve always got this mentality that being committed means you need to cut down everything and the only thing left is God. NOT at all. Cut away the useless branches and you can see more fruits growing! And when you enjoy the fruits…wow…it’s amazing!
a new light to praying
A successful prayer life means that 100% of your prayers are answered.
Prayer is more than just asking blessings from God. Prayer is a communicating with God. It is not a one-way conversation but it involves both God and us.
I grew up praying ‘ God I want this, and that, please give me this…please make this happen, please bless me…’ And I really praise God for learning how to pray a faith-filled prayer, standing on the promises in the Bible and really making my prayers come true.
So, lets start…
- A good prayer is like a good debate or argument. It must be based on something concrete….eg law, textbook. To have an effective prayer, be sure it is supported by the Word of God. If you are asking God for healing, find healing scriptures that support your prayer.
Isaiah 55:11 NKJV
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
We know that if we pray according to the word of God, we know it will be accomplished and not only that, it will prosper.
- Pray with faith. Ask with faith. Faith in God and in His words.
Heb 11:6 NKJV
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
There is so much to talk about faith. Faith is basic of our belief and it is very important because faith pleases God.
- Think positive. It starts with your thoughts. Guard your every thought and reject the thoughts that will steal your faith.
Prov 4:23 NKJV
Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
We get our thoughts from what we see, read and hear. And all this will generate the way we think, talk and act.
Luke 6:45 NKJV
For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Think positive and act positive. If you are believing for finance breakthrough but going around testifying that you are poor, this is not acting according to what you believe. This doesn’t mean we should deny our circumstances but putting the word into our circumstances. It is like “even though I am not feeling well now, but the Words say that by His stripes I am healed. (1 peter 2:24)” and continue to confess the word and stand on it!
- Meditate on the promises of God.
The bible is full of treasures for you to discover.
John 15:7-8 NKJV
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
And finally…
1 John 5:14-15 NKJV
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Know what you are praying for, find the verses and promises in the Bible and have faith.
God is not a liar….whatever He has promised, He’ll keep it…
Num 23:19 NKJV
God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
So, start praying a powerful prayer today and expect to see it answered!
unintended break
it seems i have not been blogging for the whole week. the last time i blogged was sunday night and now it’s friday!
firstly, it is not intended. as most of you will know, i love to write, blog and read blogs!
the reason behind this is SERVER DOWN….
server was down due to a very dump reason! because the university has no electricity. yea, we heard from one of the russian teacher that maybe the university didnt pay the bills. funny eh? well, maybe it’s also because they were renorvating and rewiring everything?
well, hopefully it’s not too late - HAPPY CHAP GOH MEH!!! beside the fact it’s end of CNY, it’s another reason to have special dinner - new dishes…this time, it’s not fried chicken…it’s pork rib pumkpin with belacan! it’s SUPER!!!!! of course we kena con for the pork rib becoz it ended up being beef rib instead…nevertheless, it’s super! and pumpkin + belacan = SUPER!!!! i never really liked pumpkin but with belanca…yummy!!! then, there was emperor chicken, mix vege and tomyam soup! all are super!!
thats all for now….lots of mails to reply and reading to catch up with…
