therapy

we started a new cycle today - therapy or Internal medicine. My favourite subject!!! our teacher, Irena, is the most hardworking teacher in the whole department. she’ll keep us from 9 til 2pm and she’ll have elective course for us and lots more.

today, even tho we didnt prepare for class, she manage to keep us til 1.45pm! we did ECG, blood and urine analysis….as in, we interpretate the test results! ahaha…..then clerking patients. my patient had glomerular nephritis. she’s good, very friendly. And the whole ward patients were very nice, helpful. I manage to get some info that i need, maybe i’ll go back tomorrow to ask more.

so, we left the hospital at 1.45pm. got onto a bus that took double the time to reach our hostel…why?? because it went on a ‘new’ route and caused us nearly 30 minutes! so tired!!!! anyway, it was ok, at least i get to see a part of Kursk that i’ve never knew existed.

another thing, the bus fare is going to be increased by 50% starting tomorrow! *faint* i hope my allowance will be raised 50% more! ahaha….we were talking in the bus, since we first came 5 years ago, our expenditure increased by 100%. I used to be able to survive with rm350 but now, rm1000 is barely enough. ok, it seems to be more than 100%….

ok…time to cook for dinner….

hello…i am back!!! want to loosen up things so, i decided to write about…..markets here in Kursk Russia.

first things first…

when i first came, about 5 years ago, there was only 1 supermarket, and it’s small. So, all the groceries has be done in the market! I hate markets! the people are mean and they are always out to cheat your money just because you are a foreigner!

anyway, things has changed much throughout the years. there are less mean people and they started to realise that we, foreigners actually brings to them lots of $$$!! but there are stil means ones out there! also, we have more supermarkets and even hyper markets!

these pictures taken about a semester ago. i think i’ve gained weight! ahaha..well, i couldnt be bothered much…..i mean…it’s kind dumb to be worrying abt how you weight all the time when the fact is, you are not obesed. of course, if i am overweight, i should be doing something but i am not. just right! so, eat what i like and sleep whenever i like.

honestly, i stil hate the market til today. i’ve been cheated a couple of times and if i could, i wouldnt want to ever shop in markets! i know i’ve got to change….well, shall wait and see!

no regrets

As some might notice, i’ve deleted some posts that i wrote a few days ago. not because i have something to hide but i just realised that it’s no point having negetive stuff in my blog if my purpose of the blog is to serve God!  

i really want to thank those that has given me encouragements by commenting and asking me to take care and not give up…and the hugs….etc. THANK YOU!

for the past week or so, i really had a lot in my mind, choices to weigh, cost to count and decisions to make. and yesterday, in Holy Ghost meeting, i was really crying out to God for asnwers. I didnt tell anyone..i just went, seeking for asnwers. the service started and the leader was praying and he just said, God has answers for you. if you are here today with questions, God is going to answer you! And more of course. I felt the whole service, God was speaking to me, reconfirming His love for me! I left,  not 100% changed but at least I know I am getting my asnwers soon!

and this morning, when i woke up, i knew and i knew in my heart and mind that it’s going to be different. I planned my day ahead but God directed my path.

A man’s heart plans his way,
      But the LORD directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9)

Cut the long story short, I got my answers and direction from God Himself!

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Matt 7:7

God is just so amazing and awesome and wonderful!

Life without God is really meaningless. You can search for so many things to fill the emptiness in your heart….and do things you think will make you whole. But nothing, NOTHING can be compared with having God in your life.

Whom have I in heaven but You?
         And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
 My flesh and my heart fail;
         But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. ( Psalm73-25-26)

I’ve gone one whole round and back to God. ahaha..it’s really funny. I thought life can be more without God. I thought that life would be more fun without God. How dumb! Wasted a whole week!!! Life cannot ever be better without God. It’s meaningless without God. Even if you gain the whole world but you dont have Jesus in your life, you are missing your whole life.

No matter how far I’ve gone…I really thank God that His love is unfailing and He stil welcomes me back with open arms!

Someone once said, even if you’ve lost grip of God, God will never never lost grip on you! God is faithful! God will always be faithful, even when we are not. And if we are faithful, we finds God even more faithful.

 I dont know how to express it….no words to describe how great is His love for us! You just got to experience it for yourself!

 p/s : daylight saving begins today! meaning i’m lossing 1 hour!! gtg sleep!!!

a day in zurich

zurich - our first destination.

in the airport - Domodedevo, Moscow. It’s the airport that I go there every summer to go home and each semester, you can notice that it is getting bigger and bigger because they are constantly renovating it…and it has been going on for the past 3 years! the imigressen used to take ages but now, it’s improving.

in transit bus…everyone is so excited! we were transiting in Venice…no no Vienna! ahaha…

breakfast…but nothing can be compared to Msian style breakfast. here, it’s only toast, egg, ham, cheese and spreads. no mee, no nasi lemak… =(

taking the train to the city. it was funny because we had no idea how to buy a train ticket. and we missed a few trams until someone finally dared to ask a passerby about how to get a ticket. so, we bought ourselves a day pass and jump on the train that came next.

in the city centre - gee..i dont know wat the fountain is called…ekekeke but the whole city, it’s clean, and beautiful.

in zurich city. erm…beautiful buildings? hahaha

beautiful Lake Zurich. it is beautiful….clear water and they are ducks swimming around. it’s amazing to see them swim….

easter cell group party

we had our cell group easter party yesterday. all the cell group had it at one time together. as for my cell group, we cook pasta, fried chicken, baked potatoes, brownies and ice cream for dessert! it was superb.

 i made pasta….it was an idea i got as i was shopping. i am amazed how i can come up with such an idea. ahaha! but later my friend told me, it’s actually tuna casserole.

it’s very easy to make…..and in an cooking, as long as you put in LOVE, it is nice! it is macaroni with tuna and green peas. even tho i feel as if something is lacking, maybe not salty enough? but the tuna is nice….maybe need more love! hahaha…

 we had a great time. we speak about how God has blessed each of our family members and us when we come to know Him more and more. Alot of us is able to see the changes in our family and it is because of the love of God that cause the family to be more of love.  Also one important thing that was shared was about praying moves the hand of God! so, start to pray if you want to see changes in your life!
