highlight of the week!

a very exciting thing happened today. we have to finish our case history for our patient for this rotation - Internal Medicine. My patient is having GN - glomerulonephritis. And the bad news is that we have to write it in RUSSIAN!!!!  It is a nightmare to me but praise God that I manage to finish it with all the russian words and vocab that i have in my mind!

Anyway, towards the end, something happened -  a funny incident! very funny indeed!

my poor toe was ‘crushed’ by a chair by Ik! but praise God, that it was just for a short time before it could develop into crush syndrome!

it is just superficial skin abrasion. nothing to be worried or anxious about. And NO, it doenst hurt as much as it seemed. ahahaha…

like i said, it was a very funny incident, i dont know how my feet got under the chair, and when Ik sat on it, I was screaming trying to tell him my feet was under his chair but i couldnt get the word out and he was like “ar? what? what?” and after nearly 15 seconds, ok, maybe slightly less, 12 seconds, he finally realised it! *ouch* I tought it might just be bruised but it turned out to be slight skin abrasion and minor bleeding.

pain? not really but i’ve been warned, it might hurt when i am taking bath! anyway, i enjoy pain….it’s a wierd statement but pain makes me feel alive! haha….good pain of course!

now, it has been more than 1 hour since the incident as i am writing this post, the bleeding has stopped, and my toe - it seems to be a bit deviated!!! but no worries, no fractures coz i’ve checked for the signs of fractures. hahahaha……
