break from hiatus

a hiatus from my previous hiatus! ahha..ok, i know I am not supposed to be blogging becoz I am having a haitus but I cant keep my feelings hidden!!!!

Dearest veep just asked me if I wanted to go to Thorpe Park. Without thinking I said YES!!! I thought it was a ‘park’ like any other Hyde Park or St. James Park, maybe this was dedicated for Ian Thrope, but it doest not make any sense, in UK??? The veep asked, if I knew what it was, so I asked if it was Ian Thorpe’s park? and I think she nearly fainted!! ahaha, It is actually UK’s most thrillling park. OMG!!

OMG, by just looking at the picture I felt the adrenaline rush!! They have more than 1 rollercoasters!!! WAH!!!!! Next, I went to check the price and time, etc…not bad, if we are going on a group of 5-9, we can get 40% discount, and it cost £19, if we book online. If not, it’s £32. hhmm….

Thanks veep for telling me! At least now, I have something to look forward too!! Now, lets see what I can expect from this theme park!

wow!!! I must be the one sitting on the first row…it’s going to a great thrill!!!!

I have got to play this!!! wah!! It is so fun!!!!!! One of my dream to actually sit on one of these…it’s like ur leg is dangling…wow, the excitement is indescribable!!

 yay!! another freefall…this is a MUST!! especially the one I took in Disneyland which some claimed it was too mild, and I must go to Genting’s free fall, but I couldnt make it this summer but here is another that can make up! ahhaha…..

hiatus

This might be a psuedo-hiatus. Meaning, I am trying to blog less as exams is very near. I cant say I am having a very heavy cycle (last cycle) but it is a final exam cycle and I’ll be sitting for the exam end of next week. And the following Wed is my therapy exam and followed by Surgery exam on 19th.

Currently, I am not in my best shape, hungry!!! The stove is not working AGAIN!!! Sleepy but I must study for therapy! Not as much as the previous years but more intense topics like Rheumatology and CVS. Very challenging, I must say. Also, X-ray and blood analysis and ECG that I must interpretate. Wow!!!!!!

Well, my flight to London has been confirmed, landing on 22nd June til 29th June. Yay!!! Of course, If i am given a choice, I would want to go back home straight but I didnt know I could change my ticket to Malaysia so, ended going to London instead. Honestly, I would have opt to go home straight. Maybe the cost of changing the ticket would be more. Come to think about it….what am I to do in London? I’ve been there and Sherp and Veep isn’t around.  The only place I have in mind is…Tower Bridge. I didnt manage to go the last time because was late for Hillsongs Church Service! ahaha…so, i guess I’ll be visiting it this time!

Dear silent readers of mine who are in London or has been to London, is there any place that is recommended to visit? The must-eat-things in London? Or must-visit-place? I need some suggestions here!

Arrrrrggh…I am so sleepy now….and HUNGRY!!! I guess it is either I am eating out or cooking using the microwave.

WCCI 6th Anniversary

last year, we cleberabrated our 5th anniversary by having a Gala. It was super!! This year, we had SUMMERACE. It is a modified Amazing Race. I believe there were near to 80 people that joined the Summerace. As they were racing to their last pit stop, some of us were busy doing the BBQ for the after party!

We started off at 830am, went to hostel 4 with all our marinated chickens. We arrived there and started to walk to the BBQ spot, some where behind the 4th hostel.

We walked, and walked. Climbed up the hill and down the hill.

And continue walking.

Finally, after nearly 20 minutes of heavy chicken and bbq epuipment, we arrived at the spot, it was worth it!

The view…was spectacular!!! We were on top of a hill, over looking the forest, and river beneath us. Wow, I’ve never seen such beautiful scenery here!

Ok, after enjoying the beautiful sceneries, it’s time to get started!!! Firstly, we need to get the BBQ pit ready! We planned 3 pits. Before that, we need to gather some bricks…

Then, first BBQ pit up and going! Not bad eh!!

Next, getting the charcoal heated up…using the ‘ancient’ style, cupboard are used to blow the fire up…haha..ok, my english is a bit wierd, but you get the meaning!

Finally, we can start BBQ-ing something!

Not forgetting Ching Ching, helping with the potatoes. And also Sher Ling (not in pic) who is in charge of making sure the potatoes taste nice!

After the SUMMERACE, everyone came over to this BBQ spot and, I was so busy announcing about their groupings and giving out food that I didnt take any picture!! =( Sorry guys! If it’s not for the slight rain after we started eating, we could have taken lots of pictures! Maybe a BIG group picture even!!

Even though it was a very tiring day, I stood for 8 hours long!!! And walked back to the hostel! Took me nearly 30 minutes. Wow, my leg and feet hurts. At 8pm, I went to sleep and woke up at 9am the next morning! A great sleep! ahaha… It was really fun!!

忘不了

What can’t I get out of my mind? Blogging! I wanted to leave the world of blogging for a short period of time. WHY? Partly because exams is coming up and I am supposed to be studying about cor pulmonale now. And see what I am doing?

Today Cell Group was superb!! Totally enjoyed it. Same goes to discipleship I had these few days. Really saw God teaching me and working through me. And something great I’ve learnt is that in ministry time, it is really a time to rest in God because God is giving the wisdom to teach and giving the strength to work. If ever we find ministry is work or labour, then we have got it all wrong!

Today, suppose we are going out for dinner, to welcome the visitors from Houston Worship Centre. Our pastors’ home church. The associate pastor, and 4 church admins are coming. So, we in the Shepherd’s ministry are supposed to take one of them out. But it happened that they are arrving late by train so it was cancelled. Can’t wait to meet all of them tomorrow in Holy Ghost meeting. Yay!!

Another great thing, Chris Tomlin, Louie Giglio and Charlie Hall are coming to Malaysia for Passion Conference!! It’s on Aug 3rd. Who are they?? Louie Giglio - the Laminin person! Also gave a great message on Indescribable God. We even watched it in church…super!!! ahaha…and Chris Tomlin who sang Indescribable God! I’ve booked my tickets, and I’m grabbing as many leaders as I can to go for it!! So, if you are between 18-25, dont miss out this great chance!!! It’s going to be a HUGE blessings!! Wow, thinking about it already makes me so excited. One thing that I am a bit disappointed is that it’s only 4 hours, should have make it a few days! It is too short..coz there are so much to receive from God!

Quarks

For the next 2 weeks, my chruch are having prayer and fasting. it’s the church members fasting to pray for the church. So, of course there are a lot of things we can fast from…as for me, it’s something to do with blogging. Haha…so, guess it’ll be less of me blogging for the coming 2 weeks. Fasting is stopping for doing something (willingly) and using that time to pray!

Ok, here is another thing that blew my mind…remember Laminin? If you have not read it, click to read and watch the video!

well, this week, there is more!!!

Do you know, that the smallest ‘thing’ isnt atom, it’s the neutron, electron and protons inside an atom. And do you know they are not the smallest because inside each of these is something called quark. And when they look deeper, do you know what forms quark??

Quarks are vibrating. All fundamental particles are vibrating or oscillating due to heat energy in the environment. Therefore, quarks, being fundamental should be vibrating also. Quarks forming a particle such as a proton may be vibrating independently in the whole particle as well as vibrating along with the total particle. As is known, quarks are spinning and may obey the pauli exclusion principle.

Vibrations!!! And do you know what happens before a vibration begins? Sound. Sound makes vibration. When we speak, the vibration of our vocal cords makes our voice and form words. When we stike a guitar, vibration of the guitar strings produce music.

Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Genesis 1:6 And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.”
Genesis 1:9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.
Genesis 1: 11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.
Genesis 1:14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.
Genesis 1:20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.”
Genesis 1:24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

What is the point here? It’s means, God spoke the world into existence!! Every single thing, that has a molecule, and atoms has quarks, and inside those quarks are vibration - the spoken word of God!  How great is that??

Isaiah 55: 11 says
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Every word of God spoken will not return to him void - empty - undone. But it shall accomplish what God pleases and it shall prosper in the things for which it is sent! How great is this promises? This is already a promise from God that every other promises in the bible that He promised us, it will be done. And we know that we have all of the promises of God..good health, prosperity, freedom from bondages, freedom from sin, freedom from sickness and diease, freedom from emotional depression, etc.

Matt 19:16-17 NKJV
Now behold, one came and said to Him,”Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”
So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

God is the only source of GOOD. Know that, God is the only source of GOOD!! Nothing bad comes from God! Dont tell me you think that sickness and diseases are good?!

Just something to throw it out….

1 John 5: 14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

God hears our prayer.

Birthday party

It’s not exactly a party, just a small makan among friends. It’s Colley’s birthday. This time, we planned to cook….and like always, it is special. All togther, we spent around rm 100 for this meal and everyone ended up bloated! ahaha..

The menu :

Fried squid. It’s one of our specialty. ahaha…well, at first we plan to cut it into ring shape and fry it, but it takes a long time to do that, maybe up til 3 hours. And just happened that I saw Jamie Oliver’s Oliver Twist on how to cook squids. He did it the ‘easy’ way, put the whole thing in and then cut it into pieces, It was super!!! We decided to try it, and it was so nice! It was crunchy and tasted like keropok sotong. It is best serve with sauce, any type of sauce that you prefer.

Next, Emperor Chicken. The packet was imported from Malaysia. It was super, the fats juice from the chicken was superb!!! I could eat the whole bowl of rice with just tat.

3-layered salad. Ok, you might think it’s funny but i can assure you, it’s healthy! Steamed beetroot on the top layer, then middle is crabstick, egg and cucumber. The bottom layer is steamed carrots. It’s super. Very healthy and very Russian style! haha….KL manage to copy it from a restaurant that we went too….she’s really good in cooking! Our head chef here!

Then, baked chicken and mushroom in white sauce. Can’t really see the picture. I made that and I must say, it’s a failure!!!! hahaha…because of the macaroni..it sucked away all the white sauce leaving the chicken and mushroom to be dry! =(
Then the mushroom cream soup…by me too, it’s ok but too milky. I did it by raw material, not packet mix or canned soup! It is just perfect if you mix the macaroni and the soup together, makes it look like gravy! ahaha…
