If…
If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, but make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don’t give way to hating, and yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream, and not make dreams your master;
If you can think, and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, or walk with kings, nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds’ worth of distance run
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, and, which is more, you’ll be a Man my son.

blankets?
ok, just read a post by a very good friend about blankets. At first I thought she was really talking about it and then it got deeper and honestly, I begin to feel there is more behind it…well, if there is anything, I’m all here to give u support!!!
Then read another really cool post by our church associate pastor - Glory Culture! A testimony that encourage me at this time!
Last night slept early but wasnt a good sleep, kinda anxious about the match between Federer and Muller. Suddenly woke up around 4 and check my sms - no updates from the other lynns, so I went online and check he won the semifinals - Roger 7-6(5), 6-4, 7-6(5). I dreamt it was 6-1, 6-2, 6-1. Haha! More action going on now between Djokovich and Roddick. it’s into the 4th set with Djokovich taking first 2 sets and now tie breaker of the 4th set.

More update from me tonight…hopefully no class tmr..
*update - Novak Djokovich won the 4th set tiebreaker and iout to challenge Federer in the Semifinals of US Open. Novak won 6-2,6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5) againt Andy Roddick. whew….sure going to be exciting to watch the semi on Saturday!
p/s the Bryan/Bryan brothers got into the finals for men doubles! hehe…if only Fedrinka is playing!

its all abt waiting
WAIT is the word to describe today. It has all been about waiting today. It all begin in the morning, when I had to wait extra long for a bus - nearly 20 minutes. A journey that took more than 30 minutes to reach one of the furthest hospital in the city only to find that our class is supposed to be in another hospital that is at the other end of town, meaning another 30+ minutes ride of bus. But a good news, we got one of the best teacher for our first rotation (cycle) - Surgery - Dr. Genndy Fedorovich. Sort of rhryms with Federer. Anyway…since there were only half of us because the other half isnt back from Msia, we had half a class, went back to the university earlier - just to continue - waiting - waiting for more stuff…
Waiting to get our contract printed, which we signed like 3 years ago and only now they are giving to us. Somemore, asked us to bring paper for them to print - 4 piece of papers because apparently it’s 4 pages but guess how many piece they gave back? Only 2 because they printed double sided - so they ate our 2 pieces.
Then decided to go pay internet - more waiting to do - the bank was packed with people who wants to settle their payment - one person takes average 5 minutes and there were more than 12 ppl in front of me…do the maths! Only 30 minutes and it was their lunch break - of course I wont make it, so they redirected us to another bank opposite to the Uni because it was without lunch break so I went there - 14 ppl in front of me!!!
Fine, I’m sick and tired of waiting and I’m hungry. I decided not to wait any more, go and have my lunch and go back to the Bank in the university that will be opened at 2pm. I was 20 minutes before 2 and already more than 3 people in front of me. By the time the bank opened, more than 10 ppl in queue but I was like the 4th or 5th. Paid my internet fee and I’m off to the internet service centre to reconnect my net.
After all these - what did I learn?
Prov 16:3
Commit your works to the LORD,
And your thoughts will be established.
NKJV
Being frustrated will not make the queue faster or change anything. Not to worry because God will take care of everything when we just put our trust in Him.
