ramblings

ah…

It’s saturday!! I think this is my last saturday being free….you see, normally, we have classes on saturdays. It’s tiring to have classes or work on Saturday. Only one day to rest - Sunday - is not enough! What did I do today? Woke up really early to use the internet bonus - 90% off, did my laundry and cleaned the toilet *again* and watched some youtube.

Last night wrote an essay for my sister about what memory I wanted to forget. Made up a really cute story. I wish I could write that well when I was in school. Maybe I am not writing as good as a novelist, but I find my stories to be more creative then when I was in the schooldays. Maybe it’s because of the series I’ve watched? or more books I read? Or I was simply naive at that time.

Oh… a random picture I saw in my camera of Jas, Xuan and me on an outing. Really miss the holiday mood! We can’t be on the holiday mood all the time right?? Today supposed to have tennis practice, but apparently someone booked the hall earlier and there wasnt space for us. So, spent the time eating and watching series in the room.

About being in holiday mood, I watched Wall-E last night, gee..everyone told me he’s really a cute robot and a very nice movie. So I decided to watch but ended up having headaches. Oh, one thing to mention, the humans being on the space ship didnt do anything, and I was so surprised that all of them were OBESED!!! It’s true, if we turn into potato couches, that’s what we’ll end up looking! eeww….

wie geht’s?

if you are wondering what that means, it’s How are you? in german! How are you, all my dear readers?!

Today is the mooncake festival! What are you all up too? Any special dinners? Well, for me it’s the same…if there are special occasions, my cooking group and I will cook something special. But after a few years, we realised it’s more a less the same special dishes that we cook. This time there are..

Emperor chicken! One of my fav dish! It’s simple and taste really nice.

Green curry. It’s my first time. KL (cooking friend) bought the paste from Cosway, and surely she did not recommend wrongly, it’s simply delicious! Yummy!!! Something we as a student can cook easily yet taste so great!

Fried tanghoon. For those that have been reading my blog for quite some time, normally special occasions like these, fried tanghoon will appear, right? aha, why? Coz it’s really nice and precious…tanghoon all the way from Msia bo! This time, it’s stir fried with beancurd, black fungus, mushroom and egg. Really nice!

With all these food, reminds me of home….reminds me the time when the whole family went out to eat and my daddy ordered my 3 favourite dishes - hot&cold dish, butter prawn and yam basket. That was the time I felt really touched *teary eyes*…I miss home……..I miss my daddy mommy!

Never mind! 10 more months and I’ll be home! It’s going to be as fast as a blink of an eye! I’ll study well, take care of myself and be a good girl here!

Huggy!!

counting the days

I feel very bad for not being able to write passionately since I came back. It feels like things are just starting to set off, as in I’m getting used to the new routine of going to classes, coming back, studying etc. After my phenomenal summer holidays I had, I really didnt want to leave home….but life has to go on.

Internet is still as expensive as ever, and since I’m back, I’ve used up to more than 150 MB leaving me with less than 330MB this month. But during the wee hours in the morning, there is a discount of 90% for our internet. You’re asking me - when? It’s 3-6am. Yup, it’s that time that I wake up to follow the news from US Open, watch videos and view pictures of the tournament.

Weather has been extremely warm since I came back to Russia. Very unsual for this time around. It has never been this warm before, feels like it’s still summer. I can’t speculate if we will be having a warm winter or a super cold winter. They said, if it’s very hot in summer, winter will be very cold. And it’s the other way round.

I’m also thinking of taking up tennis coaching but right now, no news yet. Nothing has been finalized. Maybe if I really manage too, I’ll be able to play better against my sisters!

Great news - Federer won his 5th US Open Grand Slam title with straight sets 6-2,7-5,6-2 against the rising Andy Murray.

People say, when Federer smiles with his teeths showing, it means he is genuinely happy but if it’s not showing, it’s just polite smile…wonder how true it is! Well, he’s smiling very happily and is his teeth showing? ahaha…a bit…For sure he’s glad to be winning again and playing so well.

the dogs are in the house!

ahaha, it’s kind of an impromptu post….coz the dogs are in the house!!! ahaha… HeiQ and Scooby!!!

Scooby, sleeping where he always love too! His favorite place! Bear Bear dog!! so cute!!

hoho!!! hei gou watching Federer LIVE!!! Now Federer is leading 6-3, 6-0. One more set to go!

Well, today is my last day in Miri and I’ll be flying off tmr! Alot of things to finalize…luggage to pack, things to buy…then need to weigh my bags so that it’s not over weight. Then I’ll be missing alot of things - of course first thing is FAMILY , my home, the dogs, food and surely i’ll be missing the US Open.

** UPDATE - Federer wins 6-3, 6-0, 6-3. He’ll be playing against T. Alves next.

still having break

dear readers!

I’m back, for a while, feeling a bit pre-depressed :???: Well, it’s because I have another 2 weeks to go! Less than that, actually. *sigh* It’s inevitable, so I just got to accept it. It’s going to be more than 10 months, this time when I’m gone, it’s going to be 11 months till I come back!

Anyway, last night, a great thing happened! Federer and Wawrinka won a gold for Swiss in Tennis Men Double! Yay!! So happie…

I feel like it’s a dream! Less than 48 hours ago, Federer lost to James Blake in the men single event and it was devastating. who would imagine that they would win the Bryan/Bryan brothers and move into Finals and finally Gold medal!!

Gold medalists Roger Federer (3rd L) and Stanislas Wawrinka (3rd R) of Switzerland, Silver medalists Simon Aspelin (L) and Thomas Johansson (2nd L) from Sweden, and Bronze medalists Bob and Mike Bryan of US pose for pictures after competing in the men’s double’s tennis competition at the Olympic Greene Tennis Centre in Beijing on August 16, 2008

I am not sure but i think Astro didnt show the Victory Ceremony, but praise God my sister found it in youtube! Hehe…

Ok, another video - For those that don’t know, the first girl that comes up in the video is Mirka, Roger Federer’s girlfriend!

It’s really an entertaining match! Something worth watching, so for thoseg out there who missed it, and know where to download, please let me know. I would like to download to watch it again!

Twilight

Ok, I’m in KL now…not really going anywhere…last night was in Passion Concert!!! Will blog more about it next time when I get the pictures! It was awesome!

Anyway - found out some of my friends are back in Miri - yay!! We’re gonna have a ‘grand dinner!’ in the nearest time! Can’t wait…hope it’s not going to be awkward! I mean, I’ve not met some of them in years!

Well, I cant remember if i blogged about this book I read - Twilight! Actually Veep asked me to read, ok, she didnt but she was so excited about it and I didnt have anything to do when I was in London so I decided to try read a book. I borrowed it back to Msia and read it during my flight back. It wasn’t the type of book I’ll choose to read but it is interesting and guess what? The movie is coming out end of this year - Twilight The Movie! haha….

Just a few days ago, she showed me the trailer and it was so exciting. I didnt regret reading the book because now that I watch the movie, it feels like all the action is coming to life. I’ve hardly read abook and watch the movie. Normally between a book and a movie, I’ll choose to watch instead of read. But this time after reading it, I feel kinda proud - in a way - ahaha…so, yea, I am looking forward to the movie and hopefully it’s as nice as the book!

Here’s the teaser!

status : idle

heheh, actually, not idle..just lazy to blog…plus cousins aren’t around so practically nothing much to do, just stay in the house, watch lots of tennis!

Last week’s Roger ATP Master Cup was a BIG disappointment coz Federer lost in his first play against a wild card, Simon! And Nadal won the title and now is just 300 points behind the World No. 1.

Then this week the Cincinnati Master Cup sponsore by Western & Southern Financial Group is on! The time difference is 11 hours which means if I am to watch, need to wake up early in the morning or stay up late! Supposed to wake up at 4am this morning to watch Federer play…but failed!

Anyway, been watching some series - When Dog Loves Cat (當狗愛上貓). But only till episode 6. I saw the previews in Channel 302 and it does look like a very relax series so decided to download and watch!

when dog loves cat
