ThursdayWednesday’s post
It’s been a few days and I feel it’s about time I blog….before all my readers starts to stop visiting me. I am so grateful for the comments given and also for the visits. Yay!!
Anyway, weather is really crazy lately, it can be as cold as -2 in the morning and then is so warm (abt 3-5degree) in the afternoon and evening. So, I’ll be wearing thick, prepared for the cold, by the time the class finishes, I’ll be sweating on the way back because it’s warmer.
I was watching Heroes season 3 episode 7…so nice!!! The latest episode is 8, and well, I haven’t got it yet, still waiting for it to circulate around…but sadly to say, I read the spoiler but still, I can’t wait to watch the real thing. What will happen to Peter? How about Sylar? Honestly, I think I read more than episode 8 spoiler, maybe I read till end of the first half of the season.
Bad of me but I’m amazed at how the writer could come up with such a story!
Any Heroes fan here?
Just finished my Clinical Immunology classes/rotation/cycle. Tomorrow starts a new cycle - Peds Infectious Disease. It’s going to be at one of the largest hospital in the city but the bus there…ewe..packed!!!! It’s either that I have to go super early or be late.
Winter holidays…
hehehe…no ideas yet, no confirmed plans, maybe I’ll just stay in my room and grow mushroom or go to Italy!
Keeping my fingers crossed. Right now, I dont have close friends who plans to go Italy..sometimes in the context of travelling, you just need to go with someone you are comfortable with…then it’ll be fun, and no stress. ![]()
ramblings
ah…
It’s saturday!! I think this is my last saturday being free….you see, normally, we have classes on saturdays. It’s tiring to have classes or work on Saturday. Only one day to rest - Sunday - is not enough! What did I do today? Woke up really early to use the internet bonus - 90% off, did my laundry and cleaned the toilet *again* and watched some youtube.
Last night wrote an essay for my sister about what memory I wanted to forget. Made up a really cute story. I wish I could write that well when I was in school. Maybe I am not writing as good as a novelist, but I find my stories to be more creative then when I was in the schooldays. Maybe it’s because of the series I’ve watched? or more books I read? Or I was simply naive at that time.
Oh…
a random picture I saw in my camera of Jas, Xuan and me on an outing. Really miss the holiday mood!
We can’t be on the holiday mood all the time right?? Today supposed to have tennis practice, but apparently someone booked the hall earlier and there wasnt space for us. So, spent the time eating and watching series in the room.
About being in holiday mood, I watched Wall-E last night, gee..everyone told me he’s really a cute robot and a very nice movie. So I decided to watch but ended up having headaches. Oh, one thing to mention, the humans being on the space ship didnt do anything, and I was so surprised that all of them were OBESED!!! It’s true, if we turn into potato couches, that’s what we’ll end up looking! eeww….
counting the days
I feel very bad for not being able to write passionately since I came back. It feels like things are just starting to set off, as in I’m getting used to the new routine of going to classes, coming back, studying etc. After my phenomenal summer holidays I had, I really didnt want to leave home….but life has to go on.
Internet is still as expensive as ever, and since I’m back, I’ve used up to more than 150 MB leaving me with less than 330MB this month. But during the wee hours in the morning, there is a discount of 90% for our internet. You’re asking me - when? It’s 3-6am. Yup, it’s that time that I wake up to follow the news from US Open, watch videos and view pictures of the tournament.
Weather has been extremely warm since I came back to Russia. Very unsual for this time around. It has never been this warm before, feels like it’s still summer. I can’t speculate if we will be having a warm winter or a super cold winter. They said, if it’s very hot in summer, winter will be very cold. And it’s the other way round.
I’m also thinking of taking up tennis coaching but right now, no news yet. Nothing has been finalized.
Maybe if I really manage too, I’ll be able to play better against my sisters!
Great news - Federer won his 5th US Open Grand Slam title with straight sets 6-2,7-5,6-2 against the rising Andy Murray.

People say, when Federer smiles with his teeths showing, it means he is genuinely happy but if it’s not showing, it’s just polite smile…wonder how true it is! Well, he’s smiling very happily and is his teeth showing? ahaha…a bit…For sure he’s glad to be winning again and playing so well.
Thorpe Park
Ok, this is the long awaited post that should have been posted a month ago! I was so lazy…no excuses…should have blog abt it the day itself but we leaving UK the next day, then the something wrong with internet which makes it impossible to upload and finally after a few weeks, here it is! My trip to Thorpe Park, UK. One of the most thrilling and fun theme park in whole Europe! They have the scariest ride…
I do hope to play most of these rides and theme parks before my heart cant handle it. Even when I was playing these, my heart was beating so fast and it feels so great…when I close my eyes after those rides, I can feel the speed and the drop…wah..super!!!
This is Veep and me, taking train to Thorpe Park. It was about an hour ride? Haha, very nice trains!
Veep and me - behind us - Stealth!
Veep and me - behind - erm…some water ride, cant remember what it’s called…..someone help me!
Niny and I - queuing for Nemesis Inferno - behind us Stealth!!!
The rides :
Stealth - the highest, fastest ride, super!! When u’re going up, u feel like u’re shooting up the sky and when u’re going down, it feels as if u’re plunging down…but it’s so fast, less than 30 sec. But the queue nearly up to 2 hours!
This is Nemesis Inferno, a roller coaster ride - ur legs are actually hanging…super! But my fav is Stealth. This is fun too!!! When us go 360 degree it’s so fast that it’s really indescribable!
Free fall - cant remember what it’s called! Not as nice because it only one fall. But once I’m up there, i really wanted to get out because it’s so HIGH!!! And I could see the sea/river? Anyway…when it drops, it’s so fast that u actually can’t feel it. Sherp (cousin) went on a free fall in Ocean Park which is double the height and more than one fall - that I must go!
location : Kuala Lumpur
arrived on 3rd in LCCT. The flight was packed, full flight from Miri. Wow, first time I saw so many people on board of Air Asia, ok well, it’s second time because on Monday my flight from Kuching is full too. And when I took Mas just the morning, it was empty…maybe 20 people max. I really think that Air Asia is having good business.
Back to my location - Kuala Lumpur. I have been spending alot of time in….

Mid valley MegaMall. Did lots of shopping…haha *blush*
I did go to LowYat Plaza today - surveying for my HTC Touch Pro but apparently they have no idea when it will be released! Oh NO!!!! So I guess the next time I am around, I will get it..hopefully! kekeke
I really want to post about my trip to Thorpe Park in London. It was so fun….so thrilling!! I got great pictures..not many but really great ones…it’s worth it..even tho it cost me lots of $$ (pounds).
Plans for tmr - DUMC. Will be my first time there…i dont know what to expect…
Location : Singapore
hello readers,
sorry for being absent for a few days…currently now in Singapore Changi Airport using their free internet service. Flight from London to Sg by Qantas air. I cant say they arent’ good.the flight was too long - about 12 hours. And it was very big flight, can fit about 400 ppl and it was FULL!! The flight entertainment isnt that great compared to Emirates but I stayed awake the whole 12 hours+ journey.
What did I do?
- Read Twilight (novel) - Veep! I finished it!! yay!!!
- Watched a movie by Natalie Portman, very nice…it’s called…The Other Boleyn Girl..something like that, i cant remember
- Watched Definately, Maybe by Ryan Reynolds. If you’re my generation, and watches The Odyssey, you’ll know who that is. It has been more than 10 year and he changed so much! kekeke
- Watched one episode of Dr. House.
That is practically all…yea, i did all that in 12hours+. I just realised travelling with a book is great because it takes the time away faster than if you just sit there looking at people!
Twilight….a teen novel, it’s actually very thick, like those normal thick normals…but it’s teenage, not my type but I promised veep I’ll read it and she actually let me borrow it back to Msia, and it must be dreadful for her to part with her book for the next 19 days!!
ok, got to go now
