sleepy saturday
What a week!!! It’s definately one of the heaviest week I’ve felt. Lots of conflict, mixture of feelings, responsibilities and good/bad news. I do not want to go in the conflicts…it’s there in everyone’s life. What matters is how one faces with it and what one will do in the future to prevent it
Today, went to the new shopping mall in Kursk, it’s called Pushkinskii. I wanted to buy something, anything! Maybe a new pair of shoes, a new skirt? Blouse? But ended up getting candies (gummies). Not sure what it’s really called, it’s not really sweets, it’s more like..soft candy..chewy stuff…like gummies. Then, wanted to have lunch there but…gee..it’s so expensive…so we decided to walk one round, since I’ve not been there. I’m so grateful for the two friends that accompanied me! kekeke…even tho I didnt manage to buy anything, I saw something really cool….
I spotted something that was going to show in the cineplex there…here’s the poster.
From far, I was thinking, wow, that couple looks nice. A very nice poster, definately the movie should be nice but as I walked closer…eee!! Aren’t they familiar?? Ok, maybe not cause I’ve never seen them before. But I saw their trailer before, that’s why it looks familiar! Haha….the guy behind is really distint…so pale, with dark eyes and bloody lips. *ahem* Still clueless?? Never mind, I’ll leave you to figure it out. Well,, you have the name of the movie at the bottom of the poster, in russian, go figure it out!
Anyway, can’t wait to watch Quantum of Solace and of course this movie in the poster.
That’s my dinner last night. It’s sliced ginger chicken wings with soya sauce. Yummy!! Love the ginger taste…really gives some warm to the cold weather. And of course it’ll be best to go with fried egg! Eggs…me fav.
Since the weather outside is so gloomy now, temperature maybe around 3-5 degree, it’s perfect for an afternoon nap!
Regarding the poster, if you’re really interested, try going to Google Translation and type in this - Сумерки and translate from Russian to English and u’ll find out the title of the movie!
Twilight
Ok, I’m in KL now…not really going anywhere…last night was in Passion Concert!!! Will blog more about it next time when I get the pictures! It was awesome!
Anyway - found out some of my friends are back in Miri - yay!! We’re gonna have a ‘grand dinner!’ in the nearest time! Can’t wait…hope it’s not going to be awkward! I mean, I’ve not met some of them in years!

Well, I cant remember if i blogged about this book I read - Twilight! Actually Veep asked me to read, ok, she didnt but she was so excited about it and I didnt have anything to do when I was in London so I decided to try read a book.
I borrowed it back to Msia and read it during my flight back. It wasn’t the type of book I’ll choose to read but it is interesting and guess what? The movie is coming out end of this year - Twilight The Movie! haha….
Just a few days ago, she showed me the trailer and it was so exciting. I didnt regret reading the book because now that I watch the movie, it feels like all the action is coming to life. I’ve hardly read abook and watch the movie. Normally between a book and a movie, I’ll choose to watch instead of read. But this time after reading it, I feel kinda proud - in a way - ahaha…so, yea, I am looking forward to the movie and hopefully it’s as nice as the book!
Here’s the teaser!
The Forbidden Kingdom
new movie coming up!! The Forbidden Kingdom!!! Yay by Jet Li and Jacky Chan. It’s an action movie so you’ll know I am very much looking forward to it! I am a HUGE fan of Jet Li and action movies….hoho, haven seen any great action pack movie since Die Hard 4, Ultimatum…..
This is definately a MUST-Watch!! I am not sure if it’s out already or not, maybe soon….how i wish i can go back home to watch it in a really good cinema!!!
Monday
oh, what a day! I am so tired, exhausted. But you know what…it’s really nice to be busy!
firstly, class today was CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY. I must admit, I really like pharmaco. It could be because of the names of drugs that I used to memorise 2 years ago, or could it be the pharmacokinetics or affect that a drug has? or do i like it because it so neatly classified into groups? I dont know the real reason too. I find it very interesting. Because one drug can have a certain effect but when you combine it, it may come out another result. And different individual or patients has different diseases and to get the result of your treatment, you need to have the right combo of drugs. So, it’s exciting!
Anyway, woke up by 7am, supposed to wake up at 5 to study for Pyschiatry Exam. Last night, there was a black out at 12.30 so couldnt study late, then went to bed early. Then woke up really tired but manage to pull myself up and read some questions before getting ready to go for class. Walked to class, it’s about 15 minutes walk, very cold today. Ok, not very, but cold. Windy and it was raining.
Then the teacher gave us patients to interview but we were really not into it because need to revise for exam at 1pm. So, we manage to finish class by 12pm and took a trolley bus to the bus stop to take us to Iskra. A land of the mentally diseased. Opps…kidding! It’s just situated so far away that there is a special bus for us to take. Journey there is 20 minutes and it is an isolated place and only 1 public bus goes there. It’s tiring because I need to squeeze because only 1 bus in 40 minutes. So, if alot of people, then, too bad.

Finished the exam by 2.30pm but just when we step out of the hospital, a bus left, so we had to wait for nearly 40 minutes for the next bus, under the rain and cold.
OK, the day didnt end there! It is just half of it! I guess I’ll continue next time.
By the way, last night, I saw this film - Jumper. yay!!! Its another mini dream come true. I’ve been wanting to watch it since I was in Paris. I saw this movie showing in IMAX in Disneyland but no one seemed to be interested to watch so I didnt dare to stay back alone to watch.

Jumper staring Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson and Samuel L. Jackson. Of course lots more but these are the lead actors and actress. A very nice story. I am expecting a sequel because this movie is too short and there is so much they can expand from this 1 and half hour movie.. There are so many part of the movie that the director or writer can expand and make it more detailed and clear to the viewers. More actions and drama. So much more action and more mysteries should be explained like why there are jumpers. Who are they? Is it a genetic thing? And so much more!
movie marathon
thanks to kelvin, who lend me his hdd, i manage to copy a few movies to watch for the weekend.
and i must say, the best will have to go to… National Treasure - Books of Secrets. It’s a superb movie! I wish I could watch it in the cinema!

Then, there was this Korean movie, Seducing Mr. Perfect. It’s ok, so so, a bit confusing as the girl speaks korean and the guy speaks english. Confusing, I know but not bad…romantic. Speaks about love and how love has changed them. Love as in, after their hearts were broken up. So, this guy was super icy because he was hurt by love and the girl is like so naive but always dumped by guys. Happy ending - guy and girl fell in love.

Oh, not to forget, 27 dresses. very relaxing and definately worth watching. By Katherine Heigl (izzie from grey’s anatomy) and James Marsden. Romantic. About this girl, who has been 27 times as a bride’s maid but never the bride and this guy who doesnt believe in marriage. How he fell in love with her and then later there were some misunderstanding and later how she found out she loves in. In the end, they got married. ahaha…did i spoil the movie for you? but it’s worth watching.

But my favourite love movie will stil be PS. I Love You. If you have the chance to watch this movie, please do please please do watch it because it is superly romantic. Oh, also, prepare a box of tissue by your side!!

Invisible Target
how did I spend my Valentine’s evening? Like I mentioned last post, I cooked for my cooking friends. And I did commented on something - we are’t romantic at all….
I dont know if anyone had hard feelings after that but it was true, there wasnt any romance at all! Should that even be? We were all friends, but today is special. Despite being Valentineless, we should at least show love to one another, right?? Maybe I’m just too weird! <– look look!! I spelled my ‘weird’ correctly! yea, from now on, I purpose to spell it correctly! I remember, my sis used to identify me thru my wierd! aha……anyway….back to the evening….
it’s ok, I shall just indulge myself with the photos that are taken during my winter holiday…which i just copied from a friend…
wait wait, what is that folder containing?

Invisible Target?? NO WAY!!! This is the movie I have been searching for the whole semester!!! And it’s just under my nose! The least expected person to have this movie, it’s in his hdd! Oh well, I might as well copy it…who knows it might come handy - when I am bored…
OK, I am a bit bored now….how about I watch this new movie that I’ve just transfered into my computer! Ok…I shall watch it after showering, I decided.
**middle of the movie** ^^ super!! this is so super!!! ^^
**near to the end of the movie** ^^ wow, i’ve not seen such a good one for ssssoooo looonnnggg….eh..stil got! the bad person is not dead yet! kekekeke^^
**end of movie** AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!! It’s so nice!!!
AWESOME!!!!! this is definately one of the top 10 HK movie…NO NO, top 5 HK..NO NO - TOP 3 HK movie I’ve seen in my entire life!!! - Infernal Affairs, PoliceStory and THIS!!!
Honestly, I can tell some similarity between Die Hard and Invisible Target, nevertheless, it’s a great HK movie.
OK, time to sleep…
p.s. I Love You
a great way to begin celebrating Valentine’s Day….is to remember the person you love!
anyway, back to reality —- In Paris, we planned to go mega shopping on Sunday! But guess what, ALL the shops are closed! well, not all, but ALL the boutiques are closed…can you imagine that? No, right? The shopping malls are closed, the whole Champs-Élysées street is closed, despite the heavy crowd. Only the pastries shops are open, or places to have lunch. So, with our broken heart, we decided to get over it by watching a new movie - PS I Love You.
Little did I know, this movie is going to shatter my heart too! hahaha!

It is a lovely romance story. Very sad, and touching coz by the first 10 minutes after watching it, I’m already in tears til the movie end. I’ve never cried so much in public before. And especially watching a movie in a cinema. This wonderful romance is stared by Hillary Swank and Gerard Butler.
I will not reveal the story here…but you can ask me personally and I will tell you from start til end.
Actually, at that time, I had a choice - PS I Love You or Sweeney Todd. Then everyone wanted to watch PS I Love You, so I just tag alone. I wont say I totally regret watching it but if i have a second chance, I would go for Sweeney Todd. It’s more of a triller, musical and there is Johnny Deep in it. I like his acting….a good actor. Remember Edward the Scissor Hand? Sleepy Hollow? Pirates of Carribean? Chocolate Factory?
