Endless Love

Hehe…currently watching a really really nice drama!

OK, I watched alot of this one really got to me..

It’s called Endless Love - 新不了情. I think it’s tvb drama + china casts and production also! I think the direct translation is Endless Love but it has another title - C’est La Vie, Mon Cheri . Apparently, it’s 2008’s series. Not bad, eh! aha….I am not sure who has watched it but certainly it’s worth watching! The pace of this series is slow…not the usual ones that I like but something about it just catches my attention!

Casts - Fiona Sit and Chen Kun. And of course lots of wonderful line of actors and actresses.

Endless Love, C'est la Vie, Mon Cherie

I think this is going to be one of my favourite series this year!  Definately!

The song is super nice!!! I ever episode, there are alot of singing - old songs and it’s so nice!!! ahha…I guess it’s the songs that attracted me!

Ps - Wang Lee Hom’s album - Heart.Beat is out!

**correction!! (27/12) It’s not TVB drama - it’s actually a CCTV production!  =p Still watching…v nice!

mid-week

It’s Wednesday, mark the day that Peds Surgery ends. Tomorrow we’re starting a really cool subject - Forensic Medicine. Yea…. CSI, Bones, Forensic Heroes!
How is everything? it’s been great….finally manage to upload the pictures of ’special cooking’ for last friday.

We had kolo-mee style of mee with a touch of tomatoes and carrots.

Then, papadam. What is it? Well, it’s something really foreign for Sarawakians and most West Malaysians are amazed how much Sarawakians love this! It’s an Indian food but does not restrict to Indian only, practically everyone in West Malaysia knows about this. it’s something like keropok but you’re supposed to eat with curry or other Indian food. It’s amazing!! It’s so easy to fry, it comes in a packs, flat keropok and then you fry them. Yummy!!! Papadam.

Next, it’s fried chicken wings. Cool isnt it. It makes a big difference when you add breadcrumps to go with the chicken before frying. Makes it looks like KFC and tastes really crispy!

Manage to watch The Gem of Life till episode 27. A very nice, exciting series from TVB. Anyone out there following it? It’s one of the longest running drama with 80 episodes and still airing now. Thanks to the students living in apartments that has unlimited internet, we have the privilage to enjoy very up to date series here! grin:

the gem of life

Also read the draft for Midnight Sun. Still waiting for the links to download Twilight. No one here seems to be expecting the movie except for Breezy and I. Haha..been discussing about the book and movie for a week!

I wont forget - a very good friend’s birthday today, Dec 3rd….

Happy Birthday, Steph!

wish you to have very blessed year ahead! may the Lord give you grace and strength to face the things in life and make you strong!

Harvest Times in my mail

Yesterday, someone came and knocked on my door, reluctantly I went to open the door, a friend from church came to visit, who is also staying in the same hostel. In her hands were a mail for me…I looked at it, expecting it to be the normal newsletter I receive from Joyce Meyer Ministry but this one was thicker and I looked at the address…

YAPPIE!!! It’s Harvest Times, a quarterly christian magazine produced by City Harvest Church Singapore. I was estaticaly! I didnt know my subscription would actually got through!

I first saw the magazine in Xuan’s apartment and was really excited about it…then inside it says if we want to subscribe can always email or fax. At the same time, Jasmine also was there and she was enjoying the articles inside. So I suggested that we try to subscribe and before I came over to Russia, I emailed both our addresses but wasn’t really expecting it…

It’s so amazing! I’m still very excited about it! I know, alot of people might not necessary agree with how the church is preaching yada yada..But to me, as long as they are preaching the message of God, and getting people to Jesus, I dont think anyone has any right to criticize about another church….because everyone is only accountable to God for their ministry. If they are teaching the wrong doctrines or whatever, they are to asnwer to God and we are not to point fingers….

Anyway, I just finished watching The Four. A lot of people is asking me, why do I have time to watch! I have been thinking about it too..wondering if Russia’s time is slower than other places because I must admit, time at home flies so fast, and I couldnt get alot of things done in a day but here, there are so much extra time that sometimes I dont know what to do. eg, now…

Anyway, last night, I was thinking before I sleep, why do I have extra time to watch series. it’s not like I dont study. I do!! I cook, I wash, I clean, I eat, I sleep, I study…and I still have time to watch one or two or more episodes a day. WHY!! I only manage to conclude….it’s the room!

ROOM??

Size of the room is SMALL. Everything is within reach so I save the few seconds and minutes and there I have the extra time that I dont have at home. The time to go to the toilet and back to my table is maybe just a minute. If i want to drink, I dont need to walk to the kitchen, it’s within reach. It might just take 10 sec to go to my fridge, and back to my table. From my study table to my bed, 3 seconds. Amazing? Very! I finally realized that with those small seconds and minutes that I manage to save, that is how I have extra time to watch series!

Funny? I think so too

Btw, weather out there is currently -4 degrees. Freezing eh..but praise God, this year’s central heating is good and the room is warm.

in the state of rest

Wow, it’s already November. 2 more months till we finish 2008. I cannot believe this year past so fast. I’ve started to notice that we’re moving really fast towards the end of 2008 and it kinda scare me. Sort of remind me of how old I am getting.

Currently watching…

The Four or it’s also known as  少年四大名捕. I just find this year’s TVB production to be really good, lots of nice drama series. This is by the young 4 actors of TVB - Lam Fung, Sammul Chan, Ron Ng and Kenneth Ma. Just too bad Bosco isnt in side. Anyway it’s based on the martial arts novels written by Wen Ruian.

But before I can continue watching, going to do my ‘homework’….doing case history of a petient..compiling the info after clerking the patient. Not fun cause a lot to write….

It’s getting really cold these few days, and suspected the lowest degree to be -6 by end of the week. Yesterday morning, on the way to class, all the puddle at the road side were frozen and windowshield were also icy…. *shiver* Anyway, cold is good! aha…at least you wont sweat…

P/S : with all these homework to do, it’s not really in a state of rest..aha…just that for the past week, I was really in the state of rest…now got to get out and do some work before I turned into a… pig?

Been watching…

Eureka - Season 3. It’s really one of my favourite series, it’s made by Sci Fi and I think it was showing on Astro, somewhere on the channel about Science. Haha.. :opps: Paiseh. But I only saw the preview but manage to watch it here! yay! Last year, someone brought it to Kursk - season 1 and half of season 2. This semester, some students downloaded season 3 but only halfway and  I manage to get my hands on it! Yippie!!! Really amazing what science can do!

Heroes - Season 3 One of my favourite series of all time. In season 3 of Heroes, new characters coming up and the old ones - well, their power are evolving, getting stronger and some, out of control. And as for normal human who does not have any power, they are now looking for ways to get some supernatural power for themselves. New plot and it is getting more and more complicated. A new line is now draw between the good, and the villains. My favourite characters are Hiro, Sylar an Peter! aha…all the main casts!

Catch me Now - Or - 原來愛上賊 . It’s definately a nice drama, a new type style that TVB is trying to bring. It’s 20 episode but the ending, well you can sort of guess, nothing good can come out of thieves…even if they are doing it for a good reason.

Currently Watching…

Last One Standing - A TVB drama. Still on episode 2. Someone about the guy on the right being framed for murder and was sent to jail for 10 years. Now after 10 years, he is released and is trying to find who is the one that framed him. Of course it is obvious that it’s the other main actor…but the fun part is the twist in the drama as it unfolds!

updates

it’s been 2 days since i blogged. i feel like deja vu now. Alot of things has been going on lately. Exams to do, case history to finish, projects to complate and life to live. ^^

It’s great that lil’ sis is in KL to attend interview for a scholarship. I guess the family is not really wanting tat much she gets this one but just a good exposure to her. Nevertheless, it’s wonderful to have the opportunity….thanks to her 10A1.

Since last night I have been watching this wonderful Japanses series called Karei-naru Ichizoku(the grand family). It is something different than what I normally watch. It’s by Takuya Kimura (木村 拓哉) whom my friend claims that any Japanese series fan will know him. Haha..He’s the japan icon. Really?

Karei-naru Ichizoku

It’s april, and april is coming to an end. Soon, it’ll be may and june - mid year. How fast time flies. Have I accomplished anything in this 4 months?? Have you?  I must say, the only great thing is this BLOG. Having my own domain and being able to set it up. It’s great. It’s something I never dream I would ever do. So here I am. Which means a new committment in writing blogs!

I have been wondering lately about a couple of things. Still seeking for answers….

monday’s round

Today, a new cycle - Gynaecology! Not really something I am anxious to study but it is in the program….first day is always the most relax but challenging. What do you think of when you hear about Gynaecology? haha…for me, it’s Dr. Addison Shepherd. She’s the gynae/obs doctor in Grey’s Anatomy. But now has moved to LA and is practising in Private Practise ( a new series ).

Practically, the whole morning, i was speaking non-stop. OK, maybe stop for a few minutes. Talking with patients (clearking) and also among groupmates. I must say, for the past semester, the hottest topic is BLOGGING! And today, we started to talk about blogging. it has been about 2 weeks since the last time we talked this much about blogging and blogs.

I was just informed by Meepit that she and her group of friends was chosen for the Petrosains : Actology. Scroll down the link and you can see, St. Columba is the finalist. Since it was from Petrosains, I was thinking, what kind of project are they making? Volcano? or something to do with science. Then I asked her, what is Actology…it turned out, it is ACTING! They got the story from Sherp and changed a bit to suit them and now, they are chosen as the finalist! Congratulations to Meepit, Sing Li, Deborah, Maurice, Roshan, Foh, Soong Kang cheng and Dominic Liew. Hope you all win in the state level and represent the school to the national level!
